REPORTING TO: Production Manager

JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: The incumbent will be responsible for operating milling machines

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

Operating and setting
Machining components to specifications
Operate and set on any other machines as and when required
Attend and contribute to daily green area meetings
House keeping

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
Trade Test will be an advantage

EXPERIENCE:

2 years’ production experience
1-year experience in manual machines
Turning or Milling machine experience will be an advantage

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Numerical aptitude
Technical aptitude
Verbal aptitude
Mathematical reasoning
Written expression
Self-motivated
Read and understand drawings and programs

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
