Valve systems are critical in energy generation facilities, particularly in coal-powered plants. There, pinch and knife gate valves are chosen for their efficiency in handling various slurry types such as lime, fly ash, and scrubber slurry, as well as for river coolant water and coal sludge management. DFC’s pinch valves are designed for minimal downtime, allowing for quick maintenance by only removing the lower half of the valve body to replace the elastomer tube. For the conveyance of high-pressure water, Vent-O-Mat air release valves are the preferred choice.
