REPORTING TO: Business Leader for Operations & CFO
JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: Preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights to guide decision-making. This involves tasks like financial reporting, budget management, audit preparations, and tax compliance.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Recording, organizing & analysing of financial data and ensure correct classifications and allocation to reflect the accuracy of expenses and income
- Prepare Balance Sheet Recons
- Manage VAT Recons & statutory filing
- Facilitate in Internal & External audits
- Consolidation and reporting using current software
- Assist and capturing budgets
- Review & signoff all Creditots Recons
- Release payments
- Raise journals and manage journal register
- Month End & YE Closure process
- Adherence to internal controls & procedures
- Manage a team
- IFRS requirements(Lease & Revenue recognition)
- Forecasting
- Taxation
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12
- BCOM ( Hons ) degree or higher
- Certificate in Sage X3 or similar
- Excel Intermediate to Advanced
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years relevant experience required
