REPORTING TO: Management Accountant

JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: The incumbent will provide support in product costing, product pricing and month-end functions of the management accounting team.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

To assist the Management accounting function on various costing & pricing related projects as well as take part in month-end processing activities.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Grade 12
BCom degree with at least Accounting 2 OR National diploma in Costing or equivalent of the 2.

EXPERIENCE:

No work experience required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Microsoft office, mainly basic knowledge of Excel
Understanding of financial accounting and costing principles

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:

Ability to work in a team
Proactive and can work independently when required
Problem solving abilities
Deadline driven
