The Vent-O-Mat RBXc Series is an advanced ductile iron anti-shock air release and vacuum break valve designed for potable water pipeline systems. Building on the trusted RBX range, the RBXc incorporates all the superior features of the original design now housed in a cast ductile iron body for markets that prefer a robust, corrosion-resistant construction.

Like its predecessor, the RBXc combines the functions of a double-acting air valve with an innovative anti-shock feature, making it a true triple-acting or three-stage air valve. This unique design offers instant reaction to pipeline dynamics, ensuring effective air release, vacuum protection, and surge prevention under all operating conditions.

With its automatic surge protection system, the RBXc valve safeguards pipelines against destructive water hammer without the need for mechanical devices. Large-diameter orifices allow high-volume air intake to prevent negative pressure during draining, while precise de-aeration ensures optimal performance in varying flow conditions.

Manufactured to international standards, the Vent-O-Mat RBXc range is independently tested for guaranteed performance and is available in sizes from DN25 (1”) to DN300 (12”), with maximum operating pressures of PN16 (232 psi) and PN25 (363 psi). Optional materials include stainless steel and aluminium bronze for specialised applications.
